My name is Pieto Smith, I was born in Tzaneen on May 7th 1979.

From a young age I started showing signs of creativity and started drawing and building things.
I enjoy taking part in sports such as golf and cricket.

After Primary school our family moved from Tzaneen to Hermanus where I completed my high school career and received my senior certificate.
During this period I developed a love for computers and the ways they worked.
After school our family moved back from the cape to the Limpopo province in a small town called Potgietersrus.

I enrolled in some IT courses and completed my A+ and VB certifications.
After that I studied golf directorship in Pretoria, during this period I taught golf to juniors and I completed my Club Management certificate.

I then started to work in the golf industry from 2004 during this period I got married to my wife Twanette in 2006.
I completed my career in the golf industry in 2007, when I was offered the opportunity to get back into the IT industry.

In September 2008 our son was born, we named him Shaun.

I built this website to share with you my life, interests and to share with companies and individuals who are interested in me my skills and qualifications.
